Seeger Engineering AG

In addition to its considerable expertise, BiEnergy Group has formed a strategic partnership with the world’s preeminent engineering firm for biomass pellet manufacturing, Seeger Engineering AG (“Seeger”). Established in Germany in 1979 on the premise that waste products from wood processing and furniture plants should be used to provide a sustainable alternative to oil and gas, Seeger has almost 30 years of expertise in the biomass and renewable energy industry. In addition, Seeger has designed, engineered and constructed numerous large-scale biomass pellet manufacturing plants in Europe.

Ruf GmbH & Co. KG

RUF GmbH & Co. KG in Zaisertshofen was established in 1969 by Hans Ruf who still manages the business together with his sons Roland and Wolfgang.

The company employs about 100 people and develops and manufactures innovative modular briquette presses for wood chips, metal and other waste material. The largest RUF press for organic material is the RUF 1500. It comes with a 90 KW motor and allows for the processing of up to 1500 kg of organic material per hour.

The first RUF briquette press was produced in 1985 and purchased by a timber mill. It is still in operation, and demonstrates the philosophy behind the company - unrivalled innovation and quality as basis for economical success and ecological responsibility - has been incorporated into its products from the very start. Since the first machine left the factory, RUF has been supplying hundreds of customers all over the world with briquette presses.

California Pellet Mill (CPM)

Established in 1883, CPM is the world’s leading supplier of process equipment and technology for the animal feed, oilseed, biofuels, compounding, and human food processing industries. CPM provides BiEnergy Group with the heart of the pelleting operation – the pellet mill. CPM pellet mills are meticulously engineered, providing a 98% energy transfer, and driven by engines that provide up to 800 horsepower. CPM has more than 950 employees with production facilities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
